where to find database integration code (query code) in wordpress theme?

I am new to wordpress. I have downloaded a book your travel theme and confused to locate from where this theme is communicating with database. It register sucessfully, update table before final submission. In its js file jq ajax function has been used but its url is not clear . please help me friends to locate query from where it is inserting registration data to database and update table.
