Gravity Forms occasionally sends user to Paypal Sandbox

I have gravity forms on a live website, which goes through to Paypal upon form completion. Usually this works fine, but occasionally it sends someone to the Paypal sandbox and won't let them complete the transaction.

The settings are set to Production, and most of the time it works.

Has anyone else had this problem, and any ideas on why it occasionally sends someone to the sandbox?
