Showing "All posts" under custom top level

This is my first time making a custom Post and I noticed that if I add my custom posts on the main menu then they automatically get the "All" and "New" child objects but if I try to add my own child menus, the "All" and "New" options are removed.

What I want to know is, how can I force them to show up?

what I'm trying to do is to create multiple separate plugins that each extend the features of a single, main plugin. The main plugin creates a menu item in the dashboard and each separate plugin would first test to see if that plugin exists and either create a child menu or not show up in the dashboard at all... but each plugin may or may not have custom taxonomies and post types and I obviously need a way for people to be able to see what already exists and to be able to add new entries

Instead of having 20 main menu items called: Favourites, Recipes, Pets, Students, Hobbies, Tools etc and just clutter up the main dashboard menu, I would much rater prefer to have a main menu item called "About me" and have "All likes", "All recipes", "All pets" etc under there just to keep the main menu clear and to group my plugin's options together.

So my question is simply: How do I do that?

Thanks in advance
