How can I get rid of header("HTTP/1.0 500 Internal Server Error"); on error-db.php

I have followed the instructions to make an error-db.php file to show a static page incase there is ever an error or the site goes down.

How can I remove header("HTTP/1.0 500 Internal Server Error"); from showing? I previewed the file by going to http://ift.tt/1FA4iRq and see my static page but at the top it displays that error.

Is there a plugin that will override the "Error establishing a database connection" message? and http://ift.tt/1FA4jVz

are the resources I used to create this file but they don't include info about this.
