How to make categories display corresponding post with a list of image thumbnails and a title under it?

nSo my goal is to have my website display each recipe category, when clicked on, direct you to a display with all the recipe post that go with the category you click on. I want the display to be neat and easy to navigate, basically have only small thumbnails(image of the recipe) for each recipe that goes with the category selected. That way you find the recipe you are looking for quick and easy based of the picture and/or title. Having multiple columns and rows of different recipes for the corresponding category.

For example. If you clicked on the breakfast categories I want it to show all the recipes post that are categorized as breakfast in an image format with the name of the recipe below it. For example this website does that nicely. http://ift.tt/1GDzd3p

My website is abundantyou.com I have found only one way to do what I want with making a page, but not a category. For example: my page http://ift.tt/1Gq07YY shows the categories in nice little images. but if you click on a category it just goes to a default display of post that are hard to navigate through. Any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks!!
